RA standing committee on national security and Geneva Center for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) signed a memorandum aimed at increasing the level of civilian control over armed forces in Armenia. The memorandum was signed by head of the standing committee Koryun Nahapetyan and deputy director of DCAF Philipp Fluri. In line with the memorandum a new advisory group shall be formed to assist the standing committee in its every-day work concerning democratic control over armed forces.
