Jeff Beck is a British virtuoso guitarist who significantly influenced the development of heavy metal and jazz-rock. In 1965, he replaced the departed Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds.
After leaving the band two years later, he formed The Jeff Beck Group, which included singer Rod Stewart and current Rolling Stones bassist Ronnie Wood. He has recorded several albums that have gone platinum. Beck is a seven-time Grammy Award winner and was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and 2009.
