Azerbaijani media reports that speaker of the Azerbaijan National Assembly, Ogtay Asadov met a delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People`s Political Consultative Conference, Bai Lichen.
As reported, the sides discussed prospects for development of legislative bodies of the two countries, cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, the importance of reciprocal visits and exchange of experience.
Bai Lichen, in turn, said China attaches great importance to development of relationship with Azerbaijan, the leader country in the South Caucasus.
The Vice-Chairman of the National Committee said official Beijing supports Azerbaijan`s just position on settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and this policy would remain unchanged.
