Azerbaijani media reports that Iran has sent an official note of protest to Azerbaijan due to arrangement of the session of World Azerbaijanis Congress in Baku.
As reported, In the official protest note Tehran expresses resentment over the arrangement of the session of the World Azerbaijanis Congress in Baku and the statements of one of the leaders of the Congress, deputy of the Azerbaijani parliament Sabir Rustamkhanly, in support of creation of ‘South Azerbaijan’ in the Iranian territory.
