Azerbaijani media reports that chairman of the Democratic Reforms MP Asim Mollazade has ended his visit to the United States.
As reported, the parliamentarian attended the fourth Europe-US forum which discussed the issue “Power of transatlantic dilemma: strategic, economic and social”.
The forum was organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies of Poland, the Center for Transatlantic Relations at the Johns Hopkins University (USA).
During the visit, Asim Mollazade held meetings in the Senate and House of Representatives. The deputy met with Senators Pat Toomey, Kelly Ayotte, John Barrass, Congressmen Pete Sessions, Joe Wilson and Danny Reberg. During the meeting they discussed the relationship between the U.S. and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan’s role in European energy security and the fight against terrorism.
