The Government of Israel is going to significantly increase trade turnover with Azerbaijan in 2013, Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafael Harpaz said on Thursday.
He noted that this year’s turnover amounted to more than $4 billion, and there are good prospects to increase this figure in 2013.
“Azerbaijan has a good business climate, and Israeli companies interested in cooperation with the country,” Harpaz said. The Azerbaijan government is planning to sign an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation, cooperation in agriculture, the agreement on simplification of visa regime for persons with diplomatic and service passports in order to attract Israeli companies, the diplomat noted.
