Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili represents “United National Movement” at the summit of the European People’s Party, which is held on December 13, in Brussels.
At the summit Saakashvili intends to make a report on the situation in Georgia following the parliamentary elections.
Traditionally, the summit is attended by European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker and other leaders of the EU member states.
Note that EPP is the largest and most influential political force in Europe.
