PAP spokesmen Tigran Urikhanyan gave enigmatic answers to all questions, referring to Gagik Tsarukyan’s decision concerning the upcoming presidential elections.
Urikhanyann said that he is surprised with some people, who are surprised that Tsarukyan is not running because they have never said he will run. “Everything we do, we do, taking into consideration the trust and expectations of people.”
“The second point of our decision is the answer of all the unsettled questions,” said Mr. Urikhanyan. And the second point is that the PAP will not support any candidate. “The position not to run is still a position,” he said.
“People expect from the PAP an opportunity to live a good, moral life, and have a legal state some time. PAP will do what people expect from us,” said the party’s spokesman.
Urikhanyan also said that the PAP will adopt the status of an observer and control the elections to be conducted fairly.
