Head of the “Heritage” party Raffi Hovhannisyan said at a meeting with journalists in Vanadzor, that he will officially announce his candidacy to run in the 2013 presidential elections on December 22.
“On that day we will finalize the form and content of the statement I announced on November 2, and I said that I participate in the presidential election for the first time, and I am sure that we will win, that this time it will be different,” said “Heritage” party leader.
Raffi Hovannisian also added that he is ready to support a team candidate and ready to welcome all those, who will support him on February 18 at the upcoming elections.
“If any other party, party leader, social movement leader want to support team candidate, embodied by me and my program for Armenia, I think that it would make the victory more significant,” said Raffi Hovannisian, expressing his belief that if the February 18 elections will be held in accordance with international standards and the Constitution of Armenia, Armenia will have a new president.
