The most serious cooperation is established between Azerbaijan and Belarus, which covers many areas of bilateral relations, said on December 11 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during the meeting with members of the Club of Editors-in-chief of the CIS countries, the Baltic States and Georgia.
Lukashenko thanked Azerbaijan for support, mentioning the favorable loans provided by Azerbaijan in a difficult period for Belarus.
“Azerbaijan has supported us very much,” said Lukashenko.
The Head of Belarus also praised the level of personal relations with President Ilham Aliyev and noted the growing role of Azerbaijan in regional processes.
“Azerbaijan is a power,” he said.
He also commented on the situation in the Karabakh peace process, urging Armenia to withdraw the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
