The deputy of “Armenian National Congress” party Levon Zurabyan assures that efforts of the opposition political forces to unite still continue, despite the statements of the representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, as well as unofficial information about the meeting of the PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan and Serzh Sargsyan.
Levon Zurabyan noted that in comparison with the ARF meeting with Serzh Sargsyan, he has no such information in case of Gagik Tsarukyan, and do not make any conclusion out of it.
To the question whether it is possible Gagik Tsarukyan to meet Levon Ter-Petrossian, Levon Zurabyan did not exclude. “Why should such kind of things be excluded? No, I do not,” he said.
ANC MP Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the uniting of the opposition field, noted that his position has not changed, that is the ANC should have its candidate and this is Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
“I have to say the same thing, that I have repeatedly expressed my position on this issue, I do not have anything new to say,” he said and added that his opinion has not change either before the meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, or thereafter.
