Vice-president of “Heritage” party Armen Martirosyan said that he has positive attitude towards the meeting of the ARF meeting with the RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
“My attitude to this meeting is very normal. ARF has publicly announced that it is beginning a series of discussions, including a meeting with us, as well as with the RPA. I don’t see any problem here. I think this is a normal political process,” said Armen Martirosyan.
According to him, it is too soon to conclude from the ARF-Serzh Sargsyan meeting that the ARF party will support Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy.
“It seems to be a normal business meeting, I do not see any problem. Especially when Hrant Margaryan voiced that, unlike Raffi Hovannisian, who agreed with all seven points, the incumbent president found unacceptable two of them- the parliamentary system and the transition to the Armenian-Turkish protocols,” he said.
Armen Martirosyan also added that the ARF party had only one meeting with the president, so it is still not clear for the public whether ARF will support RPA candidate.
