On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Moscow cinema opened today “Different Faces, common hopes. The human side of the conflict” exhibition, dedicated to the Karabakh conflict, which included photos of international award-winning photographer Jonathan Banks.
Head of the EU Delegation in Armenia Traian Hristea notes, “By presenting the portraits of people in the conflict zone, photographer showed the human side of the conflict. Within the conflict, each individual is primarily a man-creature, endowed with rights. Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to suffer from the NKR conflict. The burden of the conflict bear also the future generations. The most desirable thing is peace in the region.”
