By the invitation of French –Armenian “Taron-Turuberan ” patriotic union, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited Desin and met with Armenian community.
As reported, Mayor of Desin, Gerard Styurla, was also invited in the meeting.
Mayor Stryurla stressed that he is very glad to see the mayor of Armenian capital and hoped that the visit won’t be the last one.
Margasya in his turn thanked for a warm welcome and hoped to see Desin Mayor in Yerevan.
While being in the French city, Mayor Margaryan visited the monument dedicated to the victims of Armenian Genocide and paid tribute to the innocent victims.
“Taron-Turuberan ” patriotic union had surprise for Margaryan and gave a special diploma to him.
Taron Margaryan also participated in the Sunday liturgy in Desin St. Astvatsatsin Church.
