On December 8 the PM of the RA Tigran Sargsyan made a working visit to the US. He met with the California Technology University president Jean Lou Chameau and discussed issues dealing with the progress Armenia tries to provide through educational reforms in the field and the amelioration of the education as a whole. Bilateral cooperation was also considered. The member of the House of Representatives Adam Schiff who was present at the meeting expressed his opinion that Armenia has all the potential to become the Silicon Valley of the Caucasus.
Tigran Sargsyan met the Armenian students and scientists of the University and answered a number of questions dealing with the scientific development of the country and the changes they undertake.
The PM’s visit will last until 12 of December.
