Azerbaijani media, citing the announcement of Afghan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Shaker Kargar, reports that Afghanistan will always support Azerbaijan.
“To be ambassador to Azerbaijan is very significant and pleasant for me” said Kargar, adding “Had it not been Azerbaijan but some other country, perhaps I would not want to act as ambassador. I can say that the Afghans are very fond of the people of Azerbaijan. I could not imagine such Baku. Your capital is dynamically developing into a European city. There are many modern buildings. Your people are very friendly and hospitable”.
Commenting on the Azerbaijani-Afghan relations, the ambassador said that the level of relations between the two countries is very high and added that Afghanistan have always supported and will support Azerbaijan.
