On December 9 Azerbaijani MP Rafael Huseynov will visit Paris to attend the meetings of the committees of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
According to the information, the agenda of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights includes such issues as improving the process of electing the experts on monitoring, participation of non-permanent members of the Conventions adopted by the Council of Europe, the future of the European Court of Human Rights, an alternative to detention, national security and obtaining information.
At the meeting of the Committee on Science, Education and Culture they will also discuss such topics as the state of press freedom, new directions of education for young Europeans, the demonstration of violence on TV and its impact on children, the ethical rules in the sport, industrial heritage of Europe.
Azerbaijani MP will take part in the discussions at both meetings and make proposals.
