The absence of a joint statement of the OSCE Minsk Group and the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan is due to the unconstructive position of official Yerevan.
This was stated by Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov on the results of the meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group as part of the 19th annual meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE in Dublin.
“Armenia is in its role. Unfortunately, because of the non-constructive position of Yerevan, which has a habit of renunciation of previous agreements, we could not agree on the text of the joint statement of the co-chairs and the foreign ministers “- said Mammadyarov.
According to the minister, the lack of political will and decisive actions from the official Yerevan is due to the presidential elections in Armenia. The Foreign Minister also stressed that the core of the problem is the presence of the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia in Azerbaijan.
