The RPA delegation, including the RPA Vice President Armen Ashotyan and RPA member of Arman Sahakyan, who participated in the 25th congress of Germany’s Christian Democratic Party, returned to Armenia.
In parallel with participation in the Congress as foreign guests, the RPA Vice President A. Ashotyan and RPA member A. Sahakyan met with the head of foreign policy of the Christian Democratic Party, the Bundestag deputy Philipp Mißfelder, Bundestag deputy Vice President of CDP Andreas Schockenhoff and Executive Secretary of the CDP and Deputy Manfred Grund.
During the meetings they discussed prospects of expanding cooperation of the RPA with the Christian Democratic Party, issues of regional development, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian-Turkish relations, and the upcoming presidential elections.
The parties also referred to the joint programs with Armenia in “Konrad Adenauer” Foundation.
