Aravot had an interview with Republican MP Margarit Esayan and the main topic of discussion was presidential elections.
To the question what predictions she has after the elections, she responded:
“I’m not Baba Vanga to predict something, but I have wishes concerning the situation in Armenia after the elections. All I want is to have peaceful elections since now, more than ever, Armenia needs to have security, we shouldn’t make any mistakes since it will be very tragic for us. I hope that our society knows whom to vote.”
The journalist asked MP to comment on the decision made by ANC, to delay creating a special committee on March 1st events. “”I think that ANC made a right decision not going against us. They can talk about it after the elections when everything will be calm.”
In the end the question was about previous presidents and what MP thinks about their role in our country, do they have any role or not? According to Esayan, all presidents, including Sargsyan, have their special role in our country and political life since each of them has worked for Armenia in order to develop it. “In fact they are still involved in our poetical life and it is natural and understandable”.
