Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the minister told reporters on December 6.
At the meeting in Dublin, the sides discussed a draft statement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“It’s not clear yet, in what format the statement will be adopted. If we will be able to agree on the text, the application will be adopted,”- said the Minister. Mediators also met with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
To the question whether a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia is expected in the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin, the Minister said, “If it will be necessary. The co-chairs are still engaged in shuttle diplomacy.”
He confirmed the information that they discussed the possibility of holding the meeting at the beginning of next year. One of the possible locations for the meeting is Paris. “This is convenient in terms of logistics,”- said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
