Azerbaijani sources report that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov touched upon the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the meeting of foreign ministers of the OSCE member states, opened in Dublin.
“Russia and OSCE Minsk Group member states will continue to promote closer ties between sides’ positions on the Karabakh conflict. We do not see any other option for the conflict settlement than organize peace negotiations between the conflicting parties.”
The EU diplomacy chief Catherine Ashton said that the existing conflicts in the OSCE member countries prevent the region’s economic development. Ashton said that the EU provides the needed assistance to these problems.
