President of “New Times” political party Aram Karapetyan had an interview with our News Agency and said that he wishes good luck to PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan in the upcoming presidential elections but added that no one can win current authorities through elections since in Armenia there can’t be any elections as such.
“There isn’t any elections is Armenia. The only thing that must be done is to boycott the elections since the current government will certainly be reelected. However, I should stress that if the opposition didn’t do it in the parliamentary elections I think that it won’t happen this time; in presidential elections. It will be very difficult for PAP to make revolutionary movement with our society since Gagik Tsarukyan has never been involved in such actions. The most important fact is that I haven’t heard Tsarukyan ever condemned Serzh Sargsyan and if you don’t condemn the one with whom you are going to compete than why you are elected. In order to have a revolutionary movement you should condemn the government so that the society would know whom he will support and why. You should show people what mistake have you seen in Sargsyan that you want to change by yourself” said Karapetyan.
