Azerbaijani embassy in the US announces that US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs held hearings on the South Caucasus.
As reported, chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia, Congressman Dan Burton chaired the hearings.
The importance of the South Caucasus for the US and enhancement of the relations of the US with the region were underlined during the discussions. Congressman Dan Burton, who chaired the hearings, called on the US Administration to be active in the region, especially to closely cooperate with Azerbaijan.
The US public, diplomatic corps and analytical circles took great interest in the hearings.
