Azerbaijani neutral MP Jala Aliyeva told country’s media that Azerbaijani people wants head of state Ilham Aliyev to be a president for the next five years, lead Azerbaijan and develop it further.
According to her, lham Aliyev will be a candidate of not just the ruling party and the current government, but also of the vast majority of the Azerbaijani people.
“Our people made their choice at the 2003 and 2008 elections, and life showed that they have made the right choice,” she said, adding “Azerbaijan has managed to skip the financial crisis still dominating in Europe. In contrast to Europe, it continues its dynamic development. All of this was achieved thanks to the farsighted, pragmatic and thought-out policy of President Aliyev and his team”.
