Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze told country’s media that she is satisfied with the outcomes of meetings held in the NATO headquarters.
As reported, while speaking at NATO-Georgia meeting she informed about the priorities of both domestic and foreign policy of the new Georgian government.
“There were only two questions. One was about the relations with Russia and another – our approach to Abkhazia and South Ossetia. I answered these questions,” said the minister, adding “I pointed out that despite the fact that there were some problems and difficulties in the beginning, everything is much better now. I called the appointment of a new Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, which took place precisely on the basis of consensus and the peaceful co-existence of political parties as an example of it”.
