Azerbaijani media reports that Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children of Azerbaijan Hijran Huseynova said the following:
“Due to the fact that Latvia has positive experience and some success in settlement of problems of family, women and children, we are ready to draw Latvian experts to solving the problems of family, women and children in Azerbaijan.”
The statement came from Hueynova at the meeting of representatives of the State Committee representatives with a delegation headed by Minister of Welfare of Latvia Ilze Vinkele.
At the meeting H. Huseynov noted that in August 2012 Latvia and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of cooperation in solving problems of family, women and children.
We are expanding international cooperation, implement multifaceted programs and projects in which support and assistance is provided to families, women and children in need of support and assistance of the state “, Huseynova said.
