According to the information of “Pastinfo”, the National Security Service officer Tsolak Matevosyan was arrested on suspicion of bribe-taking in large amounts. Wanting to confirm this information from a competent authority of the National Security Service, our reporter was told that the Security Service will specify it only at the end of the week.
Several days ago in the Investigative Service of the NSS, the criminal case was opened according to the 311st article of the part 4, second paragraph of the Criminal Code for taking large amounts of bribe.
After investigations it was revealed that the NSS employee demanded a bribe from a citizen importing and sailing jeans trousers not to interfere in his economic activities and ignore the violations related to tax liabilities. As a result of bargain the amount of the bribe was decreased to 10 thousand dollars.
