Today a RP member Artak Zakaryan stated Karabakh people must not be in a blockade and be deprived of communication possibilities. Speaking about Aliyev’s recent post in Twitter Zakaryan stated that it is not a new thing and that armenophobia has been a natural thing for Azerbaijan ever since the Soviet times. Azerbaijan with similar social network posts reconfirms its incapability to live according to the international norms of human rights and drifts itself away from the European values.
Zakaryan also spoke about the Turkish announcement that Armenia is an “occupant” state and mentioned Turkey is a follower of the Azerbaijani policy and the reason it behaves so is the comprehension that Armenia is a stable and leading country in the region and the fact of not getting along with this reality.
According to the RP member the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, when in Yerevan, were discussing mainly the diplomatic solution Armenia is eager to show to the conflict and that Azerbaijan will be pressured more by the international society because of its military propensities for the conflict resolution.
Zakaryan concluded that the opening of Stepanakert airport will approach the peaceful solution of the conflict since it is in every international document that people have the right to move freely and the Armenian people living in Karabakh must not be deprived of this international right.
