The next visit of Georgian Prime Minister may be to Azerbaijan. Speaking at a news conference in Tbilisi Bidzina Ivanishvili noted that, because of the delay of the visit to the U.S., it is possible that the next visit will be in Baku.
“This visit will be the proof of our desire to strengthen relations with Azerbaijan, although today we have a very good relationship, but we are ready to further improve it,” he said.
Ivanishvili noted that Azerbaijan supplies gas to Georgia for “very interesting” prices. “The population of Georgia is grateful for that to Azerbaijan and later I will clearly formulate it,” he said.
The prime minister stressed that he is grateful for the cooperation and assistance of the Azerbaijani side.
