Azerbaijani media reports that country’s deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov received the delegation headed by member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, head of the Committee for International Relations Hoang Binh Quan.
Khalafov expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between the two countries, highly appreciated the visit of the Vietnamese delegation to Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that the visit will boost the existing relations.
Hoang Binh Quan, in turn, noted that, despite the fact that diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam were established 20 years ago, the friendly relations between the two countries have more deep history.
Khalafov noted the interest of Azerbaijan in cooperation with Vietnam.
