“Tufenkian Charitable Foundation” together with Human Rights protector in Armenia, sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan asking to take care and support victims of family violence with state-sponsored houses, taking into account the fact that the problem of domestic violence is a big problem in our society and in order to overcome that huge problem a comprehensive approach and joint efforts are needed.
Since 1999 “Tufenkian Charitable Foundation” has funded a variety of social programs for vulnerable families, women’s rights, gender issues, environmental and other social issues of great importance.
Since 2010 the “Tufenkian Charitable Fund” is implementing “Women’s Support Center” project, which deals with the problems of women subjected to violence. The project provided with legal, psychological support, counsultations and social services.
