Press service of RA Foreign Ministry told our News Agency that on November 19 Edward Nalbandian, MFA of Armenia, visited Kuwait and met with country’s president Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah.
Nalbandian thanked Al Sabah for a warm welcome and said that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent him his greeting and wants Sabah to visit Armenia.
Sabah in his turn thanked Nalbandian for visiting and said he would certainly visit Armenia.
During the meeting the sides talked about the bilateral relations and discussed the further cooperation between the two countries.
They also talked about Sargsyan’s official visit to Kuwait, which was in 2009 and the sides stressed the importance of Embassies which are in the two countries.
After meeting with Al Sabah, our Minister met with country’s PM Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
While meeting with PM, the sides talked about Armenian community of Kuwait.
According to PM Mubaraka, Armenian Diaspora plays a great role to the development of Kuwait.
Nalbandian in his turn thanked Kuwait’s government for supporting in the construction of Armenian church.
In the end Nalbandian met with his Kuwait’s counterpart Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
As reported, during the meeting the sides talked about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the situation in Syria.
Nalbandian thanked his counterpart for their attitude towards Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Nalbandian also stressed that Armenia is concerned with the situation in Gaza Sector.
Our Minister invited his counterpart to visit Armenia.
