Azerbaijani media reports that the UK House of Lords has hosted discussions on “Azerbaijan and South Caucasus”.
As reported, Lord Mohammed Altaf Sheikh informed his colleagues about his visit to Azerbaijan this summer, his meetings with President Ilham Aliyev and other officials, and shared his impressions of the country:
“Azerbaijan has one of the most rapidly developing economies in the world, and it considers developing many fields, including finance, telecommunication and infrastructure” said Lord Mohammed.
Referring to relations between Azerbaijan and the UK, he emphasized the long-term and fruitful cooperation between BP and SOCAR.
