Members of the “Civil Society Institute” NGO, by the support of EU, organized an investigation in the Armenian Justice system for under-ages.
According to Arman Danielyan, president of “Civil Society Institute” NGO, they have done investigations for many years and can say that there are a lot of shortcomings in the Armenian Justice system for under-ages. Danielyan said that the system has more punishment tendency than the support for under-ages.
“There should be changes in the system, since the punishments are not given appropriately. I think that the decision to fine under-ages is wrong since they can’t work and pay that money; it should be given only to grown-ups ” said Danielyan adding “The next important problem is the issue concerning lawyers. The system must provide lawyers to the under-ages. ”
