Press service of RA National Assembly informs that on November 19 vice president of RA NA Hermine Naghdalyan received US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffer and Christopher Andersen who is responsible for the political office of the US Embassy.
Welcoming the guests, Bisharyan thanked American side for the cooperation with Armenia and their good attitude towards our nation. She also stressed the important role of inter-parliamentary relations which exist between the countries.
Bisharyan congratulated US Ambassador concerning Obamma’s reelection. Ambassador Heffern, in his turn thanked for the warm welcome and also stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries. As reported, during the meeting the sides talked about the last parliamentary elections held in Armenia and also discussed the situation before the upcoming presidential elections. The sides stressed that Armenia must do everything possible in order to have free and fair elections.
