The Armenian delegation with the Germany international cooperation organization (GICO) support initiated a discussion in the Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation commission on the EU Eastern partnership issues with the participation of a number of international structures’ representatives.
The head of the Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation delegation Samvel Farmanyan highlighted last year’s achievements stating accomplishments in free market negotiations. The year was significant for the Yerevan-Brussels high level mutual visits and the expansion of the political dialogues.
The head of the EU delegation in Armenia Trayan Hristea and the head of the GICO Armenian branch met the members of the discussion. Hristea highly appreciated the format of the discussions and stated they are ample ground for strengthening the EU-Armenian cooperation and stated the need to continue reforms in Armenia.
