“Hraparak” writes that the ideas of political parties who have agreed to make changes in Electoral Code are different from each other.
The daily recalls that ANC member Levon Zohrabyan, after PAP-ANC discussion, announced that all the political partied who agreed to make changes in the Electoral Code, also agreed to dismiss Serzh Sargsyan from his post and do everything possible that he wasn’t been reelected.
In order to find out whether there is such issue in PAP’s agenda, “Hraparak” interviewed PAP member Stepan Margaryan.
According to Margaryan such issue is not discussed in their party.
“I don’t want to comment on Zohrabyan’s announcement but I should stress that there wasn’t mentioned any idea of dismissing a person, in this case president Sarsgyan. Our political party agrees that there must be changes in the Electoral Code but we don’t say that there should be a dismissal of a person. We don’t talk on persons, we suggest an idea. We want to have changes since there are a lot of violations during the elections and we want to prevent it but not to dismiss someone.”
The journalist asked the MP to say why he is afraid to say they want Sargsyan’s dismissal, since according to Zohrabnyan, their main aim is to dismiss him.
Margsryan again responded that he doesn’t want to talk about persons:
“I want to stress once again that we are not going against a person. We want to suggest a good idea which will support our country, nation.”
Then the journalist said that PAP just could separately offer a project and not to cooperate with opposition, ANC, as well as with “Heritage.”
Note, Tevan Poghosyan, “Heritage” MP, said that their ideas coincide with the ones of ANC, so they also want to dismiss Sargsyan.
In the end Margaryan said that they don’t have any back ideas, they just want to make changes in the Electoral Code and that is all.
Margaryan also commented on their attitude towards Pm Tigran Sargayan, and according to him, here they also don’t have anything against Sargsyan, they just wnt to have changes n the government.
