Today, in “Henaran” club lecturer of Berlin Free University, member of the committee of Genocide recognition in Germany, doctor Jirayr Kocharian spoke about the question whether until the Armenian Genocide recognition process in will be more widespread and how Turkey will respond to that.
He said that there is a large Turkish community in Germany, which has a great weight in such matters.Kocharian is concerned about it and notes that this is the reason why Armenian tsunami will not be so great in germany.
According to Jirayr Kocharian, the Armenian Genocide Committee has appealed to the German Bundestag several times for the Armenian Genocide issue, but it has not been resolved.
“As long as Turkey has not recognized the existence of the Armenian genocide, the life of Armenian people is in danger. And in case of not being sentenced for that the genocide can be repeated…Turkey is a double-criminal, because it conducted genocide not only against the Armenians during the same period of time, but also against Greeks, Yezidis, Assyrians.”
