On November 16 Aravot interviewed Artsvik Minasyan, MP from ARF, to know the position of the faction concerning the upcoming presidential elections.
According to Minasyan, the change mustn’t be only connected with a single person, in this case with Serzh Sargsyan: “Our country now is in a bad situation since the regime is very bad. There is a corruption, monopoly and many other bad things in the country.
By changing Sargsyan, it doesn’t mean that all these issues will be solved and we will have a democratic country. No it isn’t like this. Appropriate changes must be done in the government and the policy” said Minasyan adding “our Faction has suggested 7 points and whoever accepts and promises to make the changes we will support him. Even if Serzh Sargsyan accepts to make the changes, we will support him. We don’t pay attention to a single political figure; we want to make changes in the country, in the government, no matter who will be in the head of the authorities.”
