Russian Regnum News Agency reports that Armenian Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, met with country’s Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani and Minister of Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
As reported, while meeting with Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani, our Ambassador touched upon the issue of legal protection of Armenian citizens who are detained, arrested or sentenced to prison in Georgia.
As reported, the sides talked about the issues concerning the legal information exchange and cooperation in the field of mutual legal assistance, as well as the issues relating to legislative policy and the possibility of complying with the legislation of the two countries.
After meeting with Tsulukiani, our Ambassador met with Minister of Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the latter stressed that the cooperation between Armenia and Georgia can be one of the most important areas of the economy, and added that there is a need to expand bilateral cooperation.
The source informs that during the meeting the sides also discussed the issue related to the problem of restoring air communication between Yerevan and Tbilisi.
