Russian Regnum News Agency reports that according to Seismic Protection Center of Armenia, on November 16 at 3:58 an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded.
As reported, the epicenter is at 44 km north-west of Agar, Iran.
According to Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, the epicenter of the earthquake is located at a depth of 15 km and measures 6 points.
The source informs that according to preliminary data, an earthquake measuring 2-3 points was also felt in some parts of Armenia, particularly in the cities of Kapan and Kadjaran, Syunik region.
