At the NATO Parliamentary Assembly the Head of the RA NA Delegation Koryun Nahapetyan during a press conference on November 15 concluded the results of NATO Parliamentary Assembly annual session, which took place on November 9-12 in Prague.
On November 10-11 Armenian Delegation participated in the sessions of the political Committee. All the discussed reports were approved, eight resolutions were adopted.
Armenian delegation had a number of working meetings. On November 9, the head of the delegation Koryun Nahapetyan met with the Czech-Armenian friendship group members Robin Bahnish, Anton Seday and with Senator Paul Trpak, in the Czech Chamber of Deputies. They discussed a number of issues, also touch upon the case of Safarove. Koryun Nahapetyan thanked the Czech parliament for the adopted statement against the extradition of Safarov.
Members of the delegation also had meetings with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly President Karl Lamers, NATO PA president Hugh Beyl, and with Assembly Secretary David Hobs. They discussed the cooperation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the RA National Assembly, the issue of the NATO peacekeeping missions with the Armenian armed forces and other questions.
