ANC MP Hrant Bagratyan today had a press conference and talked about upcoming presidential elections and ANC’s policy.
Bagratyan stressed that they will certainly have their candidate and don’t care what the others will do:
“Just wait 1 or 2 weeks and we will announce everything concerning our political party. The discussions are still continuing, both with PAP and other political parties” said Bagratyan.
Bagratyan also touched upon the issue of changing the governmental system and according to him he accepts it but he is very disappointed that the first and the second presidents only now understood the importance of the change in the system.
To the question is it possible that the first and second presidents of Armenia will be nominated in the elections, Bagratyan responded:
“I can’t talk about the second president but maybe first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, will be nominated,” said Bagratyan adding “There will be no love story with second president, Kocharyan”.
In the end one of the journalists asked Bagratyan to comment on his attitude towards ANC; will he stay or leave the ANC? He said that it is his decision and will do whatever he decides.
