Mareine Kharatyan in her political analysis states that according to some sources there is a controversy between the NA Republican party members, the young Republicans and MIAK. The reason for this, Kharatyan mentions, is the fact that the Republican party young wing leader Karen Avagyan, Eduard Sharmazanov, Hovhannes Sahakyan and others are from Hovik Abrahamyan’s team, and Levon Martirosyan, Naira Karapetyan support Serzh Sargsyan’s relative Mikayel Minasyan.
As the political analyst clarifies, the controversy was silent initially however lately it has become loud after Karen Avagyan’s remark on Naira Karapetyan dress code, to which the latter replied correspondingly. Karen Avagyan denies the incident and adds they are the proportionately elected members of their party and they are good friends. Samvel Pharmanyan from Mikayel Minasyan’s team also rejected the information about Karen Avagyan and Naira Karapetyan being in bad terms.
Kharatyan discusses Pharmanyan’s views stating that the latter is very much concerned with the current state of the country and instead of arguing with one another it would be better to think of the future development. Kharatyan concludes her analysis with a reference to the Republican Party secretary Hovhannes Sahakyan’s words mentioning that they are “homogeneous” and in case any conflict, they try to solve it within themselves.
