David Hakopyan, president of Marxist Party, on November 15 had a press-conference and talked about the upcoming presidential elections.
According to him the idea of a single candidate is baseless and useless:
“Today our oppositional parties must work from different fronts. Having a single candidate will mean a victory for Republicans. We should have at least 5 candidates in order to have a second stage of the elections and at that level we can decide what to do. If the opposition decides to nominate a joint candidate, Sargsyan will certainly be reelected” said Hakopyan.
