The press service of the Government of the RA informs the First News and Analyses that Tigran Sargsyan accepted the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevich and his delegation.
Both sides expressed their willingness to deepen their bilateral relations and cooperation in a number of spheres. The strengthening of bilateral economic ties was discussed and an initiation to form an inter-parliamentary commission would ease and develop the bilateral economic ties. Latvian MFA expressed his assurance that Armenia will be one of the countries of Eastern partners that will sign the visa facilitation treaty to which the PM of Armenia added that the country is working on that direction.
In the end, the MFA of Latvia stated the importance of the peaceful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the frames of the OSCE Minsk group.
