Analyst Aram Amatuni wrote a statement concerning Gagik Tsarukyan’s future:
Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of PAP had a meeting in Gyumri city and condemned the government.
The thing is that Tsarukyan condemned the government but didn’t announce about its decision concerning the upcoming presidential elections.
It seems that Tsarukyan is afraid to say the final decision.
PAP political party says that their leader is the most prestigious and will have about half million votes but Tsarukyan doesn’t announce anything about his nomination. All these confirm the fact that Tsarukyan can’t do anything by himself, everything depends on Kocharyan, and he is the one to make decisions. The fact that ANC started to make discussions with PAP proves that now they think that PAP is capable of actions. The main problem is that PAP can be a single political power when Kocharyan takes the rule of it. And Kocharyan himself hinted bout saying that PAP is a “political team” capable of forming its own agenda. Here Kocharyan clearly indicates that he is the decision maker because PAP political team was created by him.
Tsarukyan depends on current authorities, that is the reason why he can’t do anything by himself. Society can see it too because PAP previously has never had any concrete idea on any issue, but today they are already talking about different political model in the country. This all brings to one thing:
Gagik Tsarukyan is now in a big trouble, as he may suddenly lose everything.
