A member of “Pastahavaq” group Seda Safaryan told the First News and Analyses that the new commission on March 1st events will be no different from what was previously. As she states such commissions do not have enough leverage to influence the course of the cases.
According to Safaryan, the commission is incapable of getting into criminal cases and deal with single individual’s issues but if the formation of the commission is a political announcement, there are a lot of other aspects that could be taken into account and there is no point in forming a commission. Safaryan concluded her speech mentioning that such a commission cannot inspire confidence in its objectivity.
