Georgian sources report, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen supported the provision of maximum transparency and fairness with regard to Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). Rasmussen had a press conference after a meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia BidzinaIvanishvili.
“I would be concerned if these processes are seen as politically motivated. It is bad for the image of the country, even if it is not true. That is why it’s important that these processes are carried out under the rule of law, with full transparency and fairness. I informed the Prime Minister about it and he assured me that everything will be exactly in this manner,” Rasmussen said.
